NASL Sends Letter To U.S. Soccer Concerning Presidential Election

NASL Staff | Dec 28, 2017

North American Soccer League (NASL) Interim Commissioner Rishi Sehgal sent a letter to U.S. Soccer on Thursday with questions about the Federation's allocation of Professional Council delegates and the process it will use to conduct the 2018 Presidential Election.

"As outlined in our letter to U.S. Soccer, we have some serious concerns related to the 2018 Presidential Election," Sehgal said. "This election will have a tremendous impact on the future of the game in this country, making it vitally important that U.S. Soccer handles the process with fairness, transparency, and accountability. The issues raised in our letter are legitimate and should be addressed immediately by U.S. Soccer to ensure that a fair election takes place."
