TEAM OF THE WEEK | Fall Season Week 13

Jacksonville's Jack Blake, Miami's Stéfano Pinho, and North Carolina's Macklin Robinson were among impact players in Week 13

The NASL postseason is one step closer to taking shape after Week 13  of the Fall Season. Goalkeeper Macklin Robinson helped North Carolina FC earn a draw, which ultimately sealed a berth into The Championship, the league's four-team postseason tournament. Jacksonville Armada FC is still in the hunt for the last remaining spot in the postseason after strong play from midfielder Jack Blake. In another race, Miami FC took another step towards the Fall Season title after earning a win and a draw with forward Stéfano Pinho scoring in two games for the club during the week.

GK: Macklin Robinson (North Carolina FC) – The young goalkeeper made six saves in a 1-1 draw with the San Francisco Deltas to help his club clinch a postseason berth.

DEF: Ayoze (New York Cosmos) – The veteran defender scored a pair of goals in New York’s midweek 4-1 win over Puerto Rico FC. He also featured in the club’s 4-4 draw with Jacksonville Armada FC. Across the two games, he won six tackles and 14 duels as well as making eight interceptions.

DEF: Reiner Ferreira (San Francisco Deltas) – He helped San Francisco earn a pair of draws – 2-2 with Miami FC on Wednesday and 1-1 with North Carolina FC on Saturday. Over the two games, he won four tackles and 11 duels as well as making eight clearances and six interceptions.

DEF: James Marcelin (North Carolina FC) – The midfielder, who played in defense for North Carolina, won all three of his tackle attempts, won three duels, made five clearances as well as having three interceptions in the draw with the Deltas.

DEF: Blake Smith (Miami FC) – The fullback scored in Miami’s 1-1 draw with San Francisco. He also helped the club keep a clean sheet in a 2-0 win against FC Edmonton as he won all six of his duels and both of his tackle attempts. He also made three clearances and two interceptions in the win.

MID: Jack Blake (Jacksonville Armada FC) – The young midfielder made key contributions at the attacking end for Jacksonville in Week 13 of the Fall Season. In the club’s 1-1 draw with FC Edmonton, Blake scored the side's goal. He then followed that up with two assists while making a key impact for another tally in a 4-4 draw with New York. Blake was also named Player of the Week.

MID: Andrés Flores (New York Cosmos) – The Salvadoran international picked up a pair of assists during the Cosmos’ comeback in the 4-4 draw with Jacksonville.

MID: Eugene Starikov (New York Cosmos) – He scored and had an assist in New York’s win over Puerto Rico and then scored another goal in the draw with Jacksonville.

FWD: Pablo Dyego (San Francisco Deltas) – The forward scored the game-tying goal in the draw with North Carolina.

FWD: Stéfano Pinho (Miami FC) – The NASL’s leading scorer found the back of the net in the draw with San Francisco and then added another in the win over FC Edmonton.

FWD: Emery Welshman (Puerto Rico FC) – He scored the eventual game-winner as Puerto Rico defeated Indy Eleven, 2-1.
