TEAM OF THE WEEK | Fall Season Week 5
Week 5 of the Fall Season featured a clash at the top of the Fall Season Standings and it was Miami FC that came out on top, in large part due to the steallr goalkeepeing by Daniel Vega. Midfielder Jack Blake orchestrated Jacksonville Armada FC's first win of the second half of the year with a resounding performance, scoring three times against Indy Eleven. North Carolina FC's Nazmi Albadawi marked a milestone with a key performance in the club's draw with the New York Cosmos.

GK: Daniel Vega (Miami FC) – The shot-stopper made a save on all seven shots he faced on target to keep a clean sheet in Miami’s 2-0 win over Puerto Rico FC.
DEF: Mechack Jérôme (Jacksonville Armada FC) – The Haitian international made 11 clearances in Jacksonville’s 3-2 win as well as winning all three of his tackles and all five of his duels.
DEF: Carlos Mendes (New York Cosmos) – The veteran defender made seven clearances and won four duels in New York’s 2-2 draw with North Carolina FC. He also won both of his tackle attempts.
DEF: Bryam Rebellón (Jacksonville Armada FC) – The fullback created three chances and had the assist on the game’s opening goal in Jacksonville’s win. He also won two tackles and seven duels.
MID: Ben Speas (Indy Eleven) – Indy fell just short of overturning a 3-0 deficit, but he was the catalyst behind the fight back. The midfielder scored and assisted on the other goal for the Boys in Blue and created six chances overall in the contest.
MID: Jack Blake (Jacksonville Armada FC) – The young midfielder scored the first hat trick in Armada FC history, doing so with two goals from free kicks. He was also named Player of the Week.
MID: Nazmi Albadawi (North Carolina FC) – North Carolina’s captain made his 100th NASL appearance and helped lead the club to a draw against the Cosmos. He scored the game’s opening goal and his shot led to the rebound for teammate Renan Gorne to score for the tying goal in the game’s dying minutes. The midfielder also created three chances in the contest.
MID: Dylan Mares (Miami FC) – He created four chances and picked up two assists as Miami moved to the top of the Fall Season Standings.
MID: Allan Zebie (FC Edmonton) – The young midfielder showcased his talents again and scored his first NASL goal as FC Edmonton defeated the San Francisco Deltas, 2-1.
FWD: Tomi Ameobi (FC Edmonton) – The veteran forward scored the game’s opening goal as the Eddies earned a road victory.
FWD: Jaime Chávez (Miami FC) – The NASL veteran continued his hot form and scored the opening goal to down Puerto Rico.
