TEAM OF THE WEEK | Fall Season Week 4

Gerardo Torrado, Jaime Chávez, and Conor Doyle were among the stars in Week 4

Week 4 of the Fall Season had it all with midweek action and some instant classics. Mexican international Gerardo Torrado scored a pair of goals for Indy Eleven, but wasn't the only player to put his name on the scoresheet twice in the recent round of games. Miami FC's Jaime Chávez and Puerto Rico FC's Conor Doyle also scored twice.

GK: Brian Sylvestre (North Carolina FC) – The young shot-stopper helped the club earn a point against the San Francisco Deltas with several incredible saves, finishing with six of them in the game.

DEF: Phanuel Kavita (Puerto Rico FC) – The defender put in two strong shifts for unbeaten Puerto Rico in a 1-0 win against Jacksonville Armada FC and again in a 1-1 draw with FC Edmonton. He made a total of seven clearances and six blocks to help keep Puerto Rico atop the Fall Season Standings.

DEF: Rhett Bernstein (Miami FC) – Miami earned a pair of 1-0 wins in Week 4 and he was a huge reason why. He 17 clearances across the two games, winning five duels, and making three interceptions in the two clean sheets.

DEF: Patrick Hopkins (San Francisco Deltas) – The defender scored the Deltas’ goal in the 1-1 draw against North Carolina FC and also made 10 clearances in the contest.

DEF: Dejan Jaković (New York Cosmos) – He helped lead the Cosmos’ comeback in a wild 3-3 draw with Indy Eleven, scoring the club’s first goal of the game.

MID: Gerardo Torrado (Indy Eleven) – The Mexican icon scored his first two NASL goals with a pair of quality finishes in the draw with New York. He was also named NASL Player of the Week.

MID: Ariel Martínez (Miami FC) – Miami posted two wins and the Cuban international had the assist on both game-winning goals during the week. He also created five chances overall during those games.

MID: Ben Fisk (FC Edmonton) – The Canadian international had the assist on the Eddies’ goal in the 1-1 draw with Puerto Rico. He created three chances in the contest as well.

FWD: Jaime Chávez (Miami FC) – The NASL veteran scored a pair of game-winning goals for Miami.

FWD: Conor Doyle (Puerto Rico FC) – He scored two goals in Week 4, scoring the club’s opener in a 2-1 win against Jacksonville before scoring the club’s lone goal in a road draw against FC Edmonton.

FWD: Eamon Zayed (Indy Eleven) – The veteran forward scored and had an assist in the draw with the Cosmos.
