Lance Laing returned to the field after suffering a concussion in Week 1, doing so against his former club, FC Edmonton. It didn't take long for the Jamaican international to make an impact. After Matt Fondy drew a foul, Laing stepped up to take the free kick and sent his effort into the top corner at the far post in the fourth minute, leaving Eddies shot-stopper Chris Konopka no chance. It was the type of goal Laing scored for Edmonton during his time at club.

Relive Laing's free kick above, which earned NASL Play of the Week honors.
