The NASL Preseason Tour continued in Puerto Rico and it was a day that started with interviews, a trip to the beach, and then ended as Puerto Rico FC played a preseason match.
At The Beach
During a sunny afternoon, Puerto Rico FC players – Tyler Rudy, Trevor Spangenberg, and Brian Bement – hosted the NASL digital team at the beach. Coach Adrian Whitbread likes to joke with Tyler and Brian that they are beach bums. When you live a stone’s throw from the beach, it’s easy to see how that happens.
Puerto Rican Cuisine
If you haven’t sampled mofongo, change that as quickly as you can. At Platos Restaurant, the local dish was had. Regular meals for the guys consist of rice and beans, which helps fill the void for Trevor, who can’t get Chipotle on the island.

Game Ready
At the Bayamón Soccer Complex, Puerto Rico FC played the semifinal of the Bayamón City Cup. Hector Ramos tallied a hat trick in the first half, while looking especially sharp. The game ultimately finished with a 9-0 scoreline in favor of Puerto Rico FC.
The club will begin the Caribbean Club Championship on March 14 against Trasnvall from Suriname.
