Puerto Rico FC is playing a third straight game at the Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium and is hoping to turn the home advantage into more points in the standings. Puerto Rico (1W-6D-6L, 9 points Fall; 1-6-6, 9 Combined) grabbed a point in a scoreless draw with Ottawa Fury FC on Wednesday night. Héctor Ramos caused Ottawa’s back line fits with his strength and knack of getting into dangerous areas, while Ramos’ fellow Puerto Rican international, Jackie Marrero, also was dynamic in the attack, despite their best efforts not yielding any goals. The club, though, can certainly take the positives into the upcoming matchup with the Tampa Bay Rowdies.

The Rowdies (3-3-6, 12 Fall; 7-7-8, 28 Combined) enter the game against Puerto Rico after a 1-1 draw against Indy Eleven, but have been on a roller-coaster ride of a Fall Season thus far. After dropping three straight, the club is now unbeaten in its last two games. Justin Chavez scored for Tampa Bay last Saturday, but, again, Joe Cole made an impact. It was his free kick that found Chavez at the back post and the English star now has five assists on the year to go with seven goals. The Rowdies’ last contest with Puerto Rico was a memorable 3-0 win, which included a stunning bicycle-kick goal from Cole.
