The Fort Lauderdale Strikers have been on the rise in recent weeks and the club is currently on a five-game unbeaten run. Fort Lauderdale (3W-4D-5L, 13 points Fall; 7-7-8, 28 Combined), though, needs to shift its attack back into gear after playing in back-to-back 0-0 draws – against Minnesota United last Wednesday and the New York Cosmos on Saturday. Goalkeeper Bruno is coming off an impressive performance, making eight saves against the Cosmos a weekend ago.

While the Strikers are rounding into better form, Spring Season Champion Indy Eleven (6-3-4, 21 Fall; 10-9-4, 39 Combined) has had some missteps recently. The club has lost two out of its last four games, and earned a 1-1 draw against the Tampa Bay Rowdies last Saturday. Indy’s stumbles have come on the road – losing all four of their games this year away from home – and head to South Florida this weekend. The Boys in Blue were a dominant force in the last contest between the sides, earning a 3-0 win against Fort Lauderdale back in July.
