Puerto Rico FC is coming off a tough 3-0 loss to Miami FC last Saturday, but remains home for Wednesday night action against Ottawa Fury FC. The home side has had its hiccups in its first season in the NASL, but will look to end a seven-game winless streak. Puerto Rico (1W-5D-6L, 8 points) has been in several tight games recently, aside from Saturday’s loss, and may feel it’s a matter of time before breaking back into the win column.

Ottawa (3-3-6, 12) wrapped up a three-game home swing, and the club was unbeaten with three straight draws. With leading scorer Carl Haworth out in those contests, Thomas Stewart has provided the attacking intent for Fury FC. He’s scored in back-to-back games after finding the back of the net in a 2-2 draw with FC Edmonton last Friday. Paul Dalglish’s men now hope to bring their momentum on the road to Puerto Rico with the club embarking on a three-game road trip.
