Puerto Rico FC and Ottawa Fury FC settled for a point apiece on Wednesday night at the Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium.

The home side thought it grabbed the lead in the 65th minute. After Oliver was fouled, Cristano Dias stepped over the ball before Héctor Ramos rifled a shot into the top corner leaving Ottawa Fury FC goalkeeper Romuald Peiser no chance to save it for his apparent eighth goal of the year. Unfortunately, there was no touch on the indirect free kick and the goal was disallowed.

Ramos nearly broke the deadlock in second-half stoppage time, but Peiser was up to the task to keep the Puerto Rico international’s header from finding the back of the net.
