Jacksonville, Minnesota Earn Share Of Points In Afternoon Clash

Neither side could find the breakthrough on Saturday afternoon

In the Florida sun on Saturday afternoon, Jacksonville Armada FC and Minnesota United played to a 0-0 draw at Community First Park.

Minnesota (4W-3D-3L, 15 points) had the best chance of the first half to open the scoring, but Matt Bahner was able to block Tiago Calvano’s effort on goal in the 42nd minute. The Jacksonville (2-4-5, 10) defender had another crucial block in the 89th minute, getting in the way of Danny Cruz’s attempt.

The Loons finished the game with 10 men when Ibson was sent off for a high boot in the 77th minute.
