Jacksonville Armada FC (2W-3D-5L, 9 points) is coming off a morale-boosting stretch with a win and draw in its last two games under interim coach Mark Lowry. The club picked up its first ever road win last Saturday with a 2-1 victory over Ottawa Fury FC and followed it up Wednesday with a 1-1 draw against its Florida rivals, the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. Zach Steinberger got the goal in the draw, but Alhassane Keita has been particularly impactful of late as the starting forward, leading the team with three goals.

Minnesota United (4-2-3, 14) was also in action on Wednesday night and ended a four-game winless skid with a 2-0 victory against the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Ben Speas scored his fourth goal of the year and later in the game Christian Ramirez added to his league-leading tally, which is now at 13. The Loons have yet to lose against Jacksonville in four previous meetings (3-1-0), most recently defeating the Armada FC, 2-0, in the Spring Season.
