Aly Hassan Joins Charlotte Independence On Loan

The forward appeared in 10 games for Carolina in 2016

The Carolina RailHawks announced today that they have loaned Aly Hassan to the Charlotte Independence of the United Soccer League (USL) for the remainder of the 2016 USL season. Per club policy, further terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 

The RailHawks signed Hassan in February ahead of the 2016 season, and since then, he has appeared in 10 games, playing 165 minutes and scoring once.
 
The 27-year-old has five prior years of experience in the league. Hassan spent four seasons with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers before joining Ottawa Fury FC. Hassan advanced to the The Championship Final twice during his time in the league and has scored 16 goals to date.
