Jamie Chávez scored a goal in second-half stoppage time to give Miami FC its first win of the Fall Season in a 1-0 victory over Jacksonville Armada FC at Ocean Bank Field on Saturday night.

Miami FC (1W-1D-1L, 4 points) carried much of the play on offense throughout the game. The club had two apparent goals, one by Dario Cvitanich in the first half and one by Chávez in the second half, disallowed for offside. Jacksonville (1-1-2, 4), which had a strong start in its first two games of the Fall Season, could manage only one shot on goal in the match and has now lost two straight without scoring a goal.
