The New York Cosmos let a lead slip late, but were able to grab it back to defeat Miami FC, 3-2, in the club’s last contest. Lucky Mkosana has grabbed a hold of his recent opportunity, scoring three goals – two of which were game-winners – in the first two games of the Fall Season. The Cosmos (2W-0D-0L, 6 points) have used their depth, with a noticeably changed lineup in the past two games, to great effect.

Jacksonville Armada FC is hitting its stride and is currently on a five-game unbeaten streak. While drawing four previous games, Jacksonville returned to the win column with a 2-1 result over Puerto Rico FC. Alex Dixon and Jemal Johnson did the damage as both assisted and scored a goal in the win. The Armada FC (1-1-0, 4) can now potentially grab an early lead at the top of the Fall Season Standings with a victory over New York.
