Puerto Rico FC's first game yielded its first goal and point against Indy Eleven

Puerto Rico FC debuted in the NASL, bringing professional soccer back to the Caribbean island. The club put on a strong showing in its first game at the Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium. Puerto RIcan international Héctor Ramos gave the home fans plenty to celebrate when he scored Puerto Rico FC's first ever goal in the 74th minute. He took a cross from Kyle Culbertson and scored from in tight to give Puerto Rico the lead before Indy Eleven pulled the game level for the eventual 1-1 draw.
