HIGHLIGHTS | U.S. Open Cup Fourth Round Beckons For Seven NASL Sides

Relive the action of the third round of the Cup

Seven NASL sides found a victory on Wednesday night to advance to the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. In the next round, NASL teams will come up against MLS opposition with a chance to reach the Round of 16. 

Highlights from the action in the third round can be seen below: 

Indy Eleven 2, Lousiville City 1

The Boys in Blue came from behind to defeat Louisville City with goals from Omar Gordon and Eamon Zayed. 

Minnesota United 2, St. Louis FC 0

Goals from Kevin Vemegas and new signing Jack Blake earned the Loons a place in the fourth round of the Cup.

Tampa Bay 1, FC Cincinatti 0

Georgi Hristov's early tally stood up as Tampa Bay advanced to the next round. 

Fort Lauderdale Strikers 1 (2), Richmond Kickers 1 (0)

The Strikers outlasted the Kickers with a penalty shootout win. 

New York Cosmos 2, Jersey Express 0

The Cosmos moved past the Express for the second year in a row during the third round of the Cup. 

Jacksonville Armada FC 2, Charleston Battery 1 (AET)

The Armada FC was able to pull out an extra time victory over the Battery. 

Carolina RailHawks 5, Charlotte Independence 0 (AET)

Carolina had an offesive outburst in extra time to down the Independence. 

Wilmington Hammerheads 2, Miami FC 1

Miami stumbled in its first ever Cup match. 

OKC Energy FC 2, Rayo OKC 1 (AET)

Rayo OKC was unable to taste victory in the first OKC Derby.
