Minnesota United went down a man for the majority of the second half against the New York Cosmos. For the Loons, though, it would prove to be no problem. With time running out in the match, Justin Davis lofted a ball towards Christian Ramirez. The former Golden Boot winner took the ball down and with his second touch slotted it underneath Cosmos goalkeeper Jimmy Maurer for a 90th-minute game-winner.
Minnesota and Ramirez earning a Play of the Week nod is becoming a routine. Ramirez took home the honor for the second time in four weeks, while a Minnesota player has claimed it for a third time to start the Spring Season. Ramirez's tally can be seen below:
