NASL Statement On Johan Cruyff's Passing

The North American Soccer League is mourning the loss of a global icon. Johan Cruyff was truly one of the best to ever step on the field, and his impact on the game will live on forever. As one of the world’s soccer giants, he accomplished so much on the biggest of stages, but he also had a tremendous influence on the game here in North America. Johan’s time with the Los Angeles Aztecs and Washington Diplomats captivated fans across the U.S. and Canada, and he will be eternally remembered as one of the all-time NASL superstars. The NASL would like to offer its deepest condolences to the Cruyff family during such a difficult time.
