Puerto Rico Football Club is pleased to announce that it has set tryout dates ahead of the 2016 NASL Fall Season. Having scoured Puerto Rico, the United States, Central and South America, and Europe over the last several months, head coach Adrian Whitbread and the rest of the Puerto Rico FC technical staff now turn their attention to the club’s first open tryouts to find talent leading up to their inaugural season of play. Puerto Rico FC’s first match will take place on Saturday, July 2, against Indy Eleven at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium in Bayamon, P.R.

Puerto Rico FC tryouts will be held at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida on March 12-13, and in Los Angeles on March 19-20. Whitbread and his staff will be on hand assessing all of the players over each two-day tryout. Space is limited to ensure that all players get significant time to show their best in front of the coaching staff. Local tryouts in Puerto Rico will be announced soon.

"We had success with these types of events with clubs I have been with before and I am hoping to find some future Puerto Rico FC players through these tryouts as well,” Whitbread said.
