Ottawa Fury FC Release Preseason Schedule

Ottawa Fury FC will begin its quest for The Championship in 2016 exactly three months from the day that they squared off against the New York Cosmos for the 2015 title. The reigning NASL Fall Season Champions will open training camp on February 15 at the Complexe Branchaud-Briere in Gatineau, Quebec, for the third year running.

Fury FC will begin its slate of preseason matches with a friendly against the Fury FC Academy on February 19 that will be open to the public. Ottawa will then face TFC II in Toronto before spending a week in Casa Grande, Arizona, where they will face Indy Eleven and Real Salt Lake Academy. Ottawa will close out its preseason match calendar against the Rochester Rhinos and FC Montreal.

“We have had a hugely successful recruitment season and we are fully confident we have players that have the quality and motivation to work together with our passionate supporters to make 2016 a memorable season in the Nation's Capital,” head coach Paul Dalglish said. “The next seven weeks are very important for our club. Training camp is as much about working on our model of play as it is about team building.”

Fittingly, when training camp concludes Fury FC will open the 2016 NASL season where the 2015 season ended – in New York against the Cosmos.
