Rayo OKC released its 2016 preseason match schedule on Tuesday.
The club will play two matches in Florida against fellow NASL teams and two matches against United Soccer League (USL) sides, with one on tap in February with the others being played in March.
“We have worked very hard putting the best possible preseason schedule together we can,” head coach Alen Marcina said. “We have some good matches against some tough opponents, so we will get some good work in during the preseason. We are excited and looking forward to getting started.”
Rayo OKC’s first match of the preseason will take place on Feb. 27 in Dallas against San Antonio, who is preparing for its first season in the USL.
The second contest of the preseason will take place March 5 in Springfield, Mo. against the USL's St. Louis FC.
Rayo OKC will then take on fellow NASL expansion team on March 12 in Miami against Miami FC, followed by a meeting with Jacksonville Armada FC on March 19 in Jacksonville, Fla.
