Rayo OKC announced two more player signings on Tuesday to the club's inaugural roster.

Midfielder Tyler Gibson and goalkeeper Caleb Patterson-Sewell will join the Rayo OKC roster for the 2016 season, which begins April 2 against FC Edmonton at Miller Stadium.

“We are thrilled to add such high character players to our roster,” head coach Alen Marcina said. “One of our goals is to bring in players who will make our club and our city proud both on and off the field, and we have done that with Tyler [Gibson] and Caleb [Patterson-Sewell].”

Gibson started his professional career in 2015 with the San Antonio Scorpions and will give Rayo OKC strong depth in the middle of the field.

The 25-year-old Knoxville, Tenn., native played four years of college soccer at UNC-Charlotte. Following his freshman season, Gibson was named the Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year and the Atlantic 10 Freshman of the Year.

The 5-foot-8 Gibson was a four-time All-Atlantic 10 Conference First Team selection and was a two-time Hermann Award nominee. The Hermann Award goes to the top male and female United States college soccer players annually.

Patterson-Sewell brings more than 10 years of professional experience to Rayo OKC.

The 6-foot-3 goalkeeper has played professionally since 2009, starting his career with the Carolina RailHawks. In 2010, Patterson-Sewell played for Miami FC, and in 2011 he went back to Carolina for his second stint with the RailHawks in their inaugural season in the NASL.

Since 2011, the 28-year-old Hendersonville, Tenn., native has played in the Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Profissional with Atletico CP, Vitoria Setubal, and Gil Vicente.
