Haiti earned its place in the Copa América Centenario with a 1-0 win over Trinidad & Tobago on Jan. 8. Jacksonville Armada FC's Pascal Millien tallied the lone goal of the play-in match at the Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City.

Millien, who came on as a second-half subsititute, whipped in a cross that missed the intended target as the ball was just out of the reach of Kervens Belfort's outstretched leg. The ball, however, bounced past Trinidad & Tobago goalkeeper Jan-Michal Williams and into the net.

Millien's Armada FC teammate, Mechack Jérôme played the full 90 minutes as well as Atlanta Silverbacks goalkeeper Steward Ceus, who posted a shutout.

In the other play-in match of the night Panama routed Cuba, 4-0. Haiti and Panama join the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Jamaica as presentatives in the tournament from the CONCACAF region.

The event will be held from June 3-26, 2106 in the United States.
