The NASL Team of the Week is selected based on performances each weekend and features the best XI players in their respective positions.

Here is this week’s Best XI:

Goalkeeper

Scott Goodwin, Carolina RailHawks – Had five key saves including a penalty kick in the shutout victory over Atlanta

 

Defenders

Stefan Antonijevic, Fort Lauderdale Strikers – Had a solid defensive performance and neutralized Edmonton’s attack

Adrian Cann, San Antonio Scorpions – Canadian international was a key component on defense against Minnesota

Greg Janicki, San Antonio Scorpions – Helped control the backline in shutout victory over Minnesota

Cory Miller, Indy Eleven – Had stellar performance on defense for Indy

 

Midfielders

Cesar Elizondo, San Antonio Scorpions – Costa Rican international controlled the midfield and scored the game-winning goal against Minnesota

Evans Frimpong, Tampa Bay Rowdies – Ghanaian native had two goals in the draw over New York

Pecka, Fort Lauderdale Strikers – Brazilian native played solid at midfield, while stepping up on defense and scored the game-winner against Edmonton

Marcos Senna, New York Cosmos – Spaniard scored his fourth goal of the season, while creating chances from the midfield

 

Forwards

Jhulliam, Indy Eleven – Brazilian native notched his second goal of the season in the victory over Ottawa

Nacho Novo, Carolina RailHawks – Spaniard scored for a second consecutive week
