The NASL Team of the Week is selected based on performances each weekend and features the best XI players in their respective positions.

Of course the selections are open to debate and fans are encouraged to have their say through social media at www.Facebook.com/NASLfans  and on Twitter @NASLOfficial

Here is this week’s Best XI:

Goalkeeper
Matt Pickens, Tampa Bay Rowdies – Made several key saves including his third penalty kick stop of the season.

Defenders
Stefan Antonijevic, Fort Lauderdale Strikers – Was solid on Strikers’ backline
Hunter Freeman, New York Cosmos – Was key factor on defense and assisted on the game-winner
Kareem Moses, FC Edmonton – Trinidad & Tobago native helped control the defense and provided the winning tally for Edmonton

Midfielders
Tony Donatelli, Ottawa Fury FC – Scored the tying goal against Rowdies
Carlos Salazar, Fort Lauderdale Strikers – Colombian set up numerous plays and scored off a free kick
Marcos Senna, New York Cosmos – Spaniard notched another game-winner for Cosmos while controlling the midfield
Mark Anderson, Fort Lauderdale Strikers – English native scored a great goal from outside the penalty area

Forwards
Billy Forbes, San Antonio Scorpions – Native of Turks & Caicos Islands played first-ever minutes in the NASL and dished out two assists, including game-winner
Danny Barrera, San Antonio Scorpions – Colombian led the Scorpions’ offensive attack and scored against RailHawks
Daryl Fordyce, FC Edmonton – Northern Ireland native scored his second goal in as many games for the Eddies
