The Tampa Bay Rowdies return home in the hope to end their current six-game winless streak when they take on league-leader Minnesota United FC at Al Lang Stadium.  The Rowdies, who are playing their third game in eight days, are coming off a 7-0 loss on the road to the San Antonio Scorpions last week.  Meanwhile United, who has already secured its berth into The Championship as the Spring Season winner, remains atop of the NASL Combined Standings despite losing to host Indy Eleven, 2-0 last Saturday.  Tampa Bay leads the head-to-head series, however Minnesota is unbeaten in last five meetings against the Florida side. The last time both teams faced off was on September 6, at NSC Stadium and it ended in a 1-1 draw.  A penalty kick goal in the first half from forward Christian Ramirez gave United the lead, but the Rowdies equalized in the second stanza with a tally from forward Georgi Hristov.

Coaches quotes:

“We've got the series bragging rights at stake tonight because we've drawn both games this season. It would be very nice to reward our fans with a home victory that is long overdue. We know that we have to raise our game and it's a chance to get the three points that we need to arrest the two losses we've had in our last two matches." – Rowdies coach Ricky Hill

“Due to the shortened week and quick turnaround we have had to focus on the travel and quicker recovery to get ready for this midweek game.  We know Tampa has been a good solid team the past couple of years and this year they have been a good club.  We always have tough competitive matches against them, so we are prepared for a hard-fought game.” – United coach Manny Lagos
