Two sides that already know each other from competing at the Amway Canadian Championship, are facing off for the first time in an NASL encounter when Ottawa Fury FC greet FC Edmonton at Carleton University’s Keith Harris Stadium.  Ottawa is coming off a 3-2 loss to the visiting San Antonio Scorpions last week, while Edmonton also lost at home when they were defeated by Atlanta Silverbacks, 2-1.  The last time these two clubs met was when Edmonton eliminated Ottawa by a score of 3-1 in the opening round of the 2014 Canadian Championship on April 30.

Coaches quotes:
“This is another important game for us against a team that we are very familiar with. It is our final home game of the Spring Season and we want to show our fans our best performance of the season. This game has major implications in the standings for both teams – we want all three points!” – Fury FC coach Marc Dos Santos

“Really looking forward to another tough game against Ottawa. We’ve had two already, playing them twice in the Amway Canadian Championship. They’ll want to get one up on us, since we knocked them out. We’ve played really well away from home and we know that Ottawa is a difficult place to go and play.” – FC Edmonton coach Colin Miller
