The Stars took immediate steps to fill the hole left by center back Jack Stewart’s departure to Fort Lauderdale by signing Edi Buro, a young defensive player who can provide depth not only as a back but as a defensive midfielder. Buro was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but his name will be familiar to Minnesotans, as he moved with his family to Brooklyn Park as a child, eventually playing for Hamline University before returning to Bosnia with NK Travnik of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
