Pinto is a Chilean born striker and has played in Chile for the past 10 years. He played his youth soccer with Colo-Colo, and made it up to their first team. In 2011, he went on loan to Ñublense, another Chilean club. Pinto also has a vast history with the U-20 Chilean men’s national team and has played with them in several tournaments, including the Sydney Olympics in 2008 and South American Youth Championship in 2011. In 2012, Pinto signed a one-year loan from Colo-Colo to join FC Edmonton.
