BIO: Jason Garey signed with the RailHawks on January 20, 2012.  He comes to the club after six years in the MLS.  Garey was drafted 3rd overall by Columbus Crew in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft.  He played for the Crew for five years, finishing his time there with 83 appearances, 40 starts, 15 goals and six assists.  Garey was a part of the team that won the 2008 MLS Cup and the 2008 and 2009 MLS Supporters' Shield. In 2011, Garey’s rights were traded to Houston Dynamo where he had 10 appearances and two starts.

Garey won the M.A.C. Hermann Trophy in 2005 after leading the University of Maryland to the national championship, ending an outstanding four-year career at the top.  Throughout his career, he appeared in 96 games, with 68 starts, scored 60 goals and had 20 assists.  He was named ACC Player of the Year, ACC Offensive Player of the Year and first team NSCAA All-American, and repeated as first team All-ACC and Academic All-American in his senior season.
