The Carolina RailHawks announced the signing of Dzenan Catic on loan from Philadelphia Union in May of 2015. Catic was born in Bosnia & Herzegovina and started his playing career with the youth team of German side FC Kaiserslautern. After spending a year with the club, he moved to the United States and played soccer for Davenport University at the Division 2 level. Catic joined USL PDL club Michigan Bucks while at Davenport University and scored 16 goals in 14 appearances during their 2014 season. Catic was selected by MLS’ Philadelphia Union as the 31st overall pickof the 2015 Superdraft and was later loaned out to Harrisburg City Islanders.
