2016:  Appeared in 14 matches, made nine starts and played 887 minutes for the Miami FC … Was named to the NASL Team of the Week Once … Rennella made an instant impact on the Miami FC attack, firing off 26 shots, putting 14 on frame and scoring three goals … Hit the game-winner as the Orange and Blue took down (Sep. 11) FC Edmonton 2-1 on the road … Scored a goal in a (Sep. 17) 2-1 road loss to Indy Eleven … Netted the extra time game-winner when (Sep. 28) the Miami FC beat Ottawa Fury FC 2-1 at FIU Stadium.

Before Miami FC: Rennella, an Italian National, found success with Lugano of Switzerland during his second stint with the team. His breakout season came out in 2008-2009 when he scored 24 goals in 22 appearances ... Five years later, Rennella made a permanent move with Real Betis of La Liga. Betis loaned him to CD Lugo, scoring 13 goals for the Segunda Divisón side. After a season with the Real Betis first team, he was loaned out to Valladolid ... He would play in 14 matches for Valladolid before joining the Miami FC.
