Preciado, a 31-year old Colombian, arrives in Tampa Bay with a sterling record on his home continent.
Preciado has played for some of the biggest teams in Colombia, including América de Cali and Millonarios, as well as Peru’s most popular club, Alianza Lima last year. He arrives with experience in both the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana, the two biggest club competitions in South America.
In 2014, Preciado scored 10 league goals for Peru’s León de Huánuco before securing a move to Alianza Lima. While in the capital city, Preciado scored eight league goals. He most recently played for Qatar’s Al Sailiya, where he scored four goals in 10 games before signing with Tampa Bay.
