During the recent international peried, eight NASL players were called into their national teams as seven of them saw game action.
Here's how each player fared with their national sides:
Mechack Jérôme (Jacksonville Armada FC) – The defender started and played the full 90 minutes for Haiti in a 3-3 draw with Japan in an international friendly.
Dejan Jaković (New York Cosmos) – He started and played the full game in Canada’s 1-0 loss to El Salvador in an international friendly.
Richard Menjivar (New York Cosmos) – The midfielder started and was substituted in the 64th minute in El Salvador’s win.
Irvin Herrera (New York Cosmos) – He subbed on in the 72nd minute in the friendly against Canada.
Andrés Flores (New York Cosmos) – The midfielder was called in for national team duty, but didn’t appear for El Salvador.
Dustin Corea (FC Edmonton) – He returned to the national team for the first time this year, playing the final 29 minutes in El Salvador’s victory over Canada.
Kareem Moses (North Carolina FC) – The defender returned to the Trinidad and Tobago national team for the first time since 2013 and played the full 90 minutes in the country’s 3-1 loss to Mexico in a World Cup qualifier. He didn’t appear in Trinidad and Tobago’s 2-1 victory over the United States.
Kevan George (Jacksonville Armada FC) – He played all 180 minutes of Trinidad and Tobago’s recent qualifiers.
