TEAM OF THE MONTH | September

Miami's Jaime Chávez, Jacksonville's Ciarán Kilduff, and North Carolina's Brian Sylvestre headline the Team of the Month

Miami FC forward Jaime Chávez was in sparkling form over the month of September as he scored six goals, including a hat trick, over that span. Jacksonville Armada FC forward Ciarán Kilduff also had a strong month in front of goal. At the other end, North Carolina FC's young goalkeeper led the way with stellar play between the goalposts.

GK: Brian Sylvestre (North Carolina FC) – The young shot-stopper led all goalkeepers in saves with 12 during September and also kept three clean sheets.

DEF: Blake Smith (Miami FC) – The fullback had three assists and also won 12 duels and made 16 clearances.

DEF: Connor Tobin (North Carolina FC) – He led all defenders with 35 clearances and was third with 10 interceptions. He also won 14 duels.

DEF: Colin Falvey (Indy Eleven) – The center back led all defenders with 10 blocks and was second in defenders for duels won (27) and interceptions (11). He also made 17 clearances.

DEF: Steven Miller (North Carolina FC) – The fullback scored a goal as well as coming in second for defenders in tackles won with 12 and tied for first in duels won for defenders with 30.

MID: Javi Márquez (New York Cosmos) – He led all players in the NASL with 12 chances created and he scored a pair of goals along with one assist in September.

MID: Nazmi Albadawi (North Carolina FC) – North Carolina’s captain scored a goal as well as having an assist. He also created 11 chances during the month.

MID: Sainey Nyassi (FC Edmonton) – He had a goal and an assist for the Eddies during the month.

FWD: Jaime Chávez (Miami FC) – The forward scored six times as well as adding an assist during September. He was also named Player of the Month.

FWD: Ciarán Kilduff (Jacksonville Armada FC) – He scored three goals during the recent month of action.

FWD: Devon Sandoval (San Francisco Deltas) – The forward scored a pair of goals and also had an assist.
