INTERNATIONAL ROUNDUP | How NASL Players Fared During September's Call-Ups

Players featured recently in World Cup qualifying and friendly matches

Players headed out on international duty recently as qualification for FIFA World Cup 2018 continued. Also, players featured in friendly contests last week. Here's how each player fared:  

Kwadwo Poku (Miami FC) – He played 32 minutes, after entering the game as a substitute, in Ghana’s 1-1 draw with the Congo in World Cup qualification.

Dejan Jaković (New York Cosmos) – He started and played all 90 minutes in Canada’s 2-0 win over Jamaica in an international friendly.

David Ochieng (New York Cosmos) – The defender started and played the full 90 minutes in Kenya’s 1-1 draw with Mozambique in a friendly match.

Kevan George (Trinidad and Tobago) – The midfielder started both of Trinidad and Tobago’s recent World Cup qualifiers. He played all 90 minutes in the 2-1 loss to Honduras before playing 51 minutes in the 3-0 loss to Panama. 

Nik Ledgerwood (FC Edmonton) - He was a part of the Canada squad that played Jamaica, but he didn't feature, He was honored at the game for reaching 50 appearances for his national team.
