Week 2 of the NASL Fall Season provided plenty of excitement during a busy slate on Saturday night.

In Indianapolis, FC Edmonton erupted for three goals to down Indy Eleven. Dustin Corea had a pair of goals in the win.

Puerto Rico FC and the San Francisco Deltas were both able to get their first wins of the Fall Season, doing so in front of their supporters. A first-half goal from Conor Doyle held up in the victory over Jacksonville Armada FC, while the Deltas scored twice at the end of the first half to defeat the New York Cosmos.

Continue below for a full recap of Week 2 of the Fall Season:

Puerto Rico FC 1, Jacksonville Armada FC 0

Puerto Rico FC was able to claim all three points in a 1-0 victory against Jacksonville Armada FC at Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium.

Conor Doyle started an attacking move just before halftime, playing Giuseppe Gentile into space down the right wing. Gentile drove into the box before floating a cross back across goal. Doyle’s first-time shot beat Jacksonville goalkeeper Caleb Patterson-Sewell for the eventual game-winner.

Armada FC forward Charles Eloundou forced a good save from Puerto Rico goalkeeper Trevor Spangenberg in the 75th minute. Three minutes later, Eloundou again came close, sending his shot just wide of the post.

FC Edmonton 3, Indy Eleven 1

FC Edmonton used a rare attacking outburst to defeat Indy Eleven, 3-1, at Carroll Stadium as Salvadoran international Dustin Corea was the star man.

The Eddies jumped in front from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute. Corea converted the first of his two goals with a cool finish from the spot after Pedro Galvao was taken down by Marco Franco in the box.

Just six minutes later, Albert Watson headed in Edmonton’s second goal of the contest, connecting with Ben Fisk’s corner kick.

Indy Eleven pulled a goal back from a set piece, though. Nemanja Vukovic struck a beautiful free kick in the 66th minute, finding the top corner with a curling effort to leave Eddies goalkeeper Tyson Farago with no chance of stopping it.

Corea then added his second of the game in the 73rd minute from close range after getting on the end of a low cross from Daryl Fordyce to seal all three points for the visitors.

Miami FC 2, North Carolina FC 3

North Carolina FC appeared to have dropped two points after Miami FC fought back to erase a two-goal lead, but a late tally from Christian Ibeagha earned the visitors all three points in a 3-2 win at Riccardo Silva Stadium.

The game had an incredible finish with each side getting a goal in stoppage time. Ibeagha provided the winning goal when he connected with Tiyi Shipalane’s free kick in the second minute of second-half stoppage time. Miami’s Stéfano Pinho had just equalized the contest a minute before on a low shot from inside the box that deflected into the goal.

The visitors took the lead in the 27th minute on Jonathan Glenn’s first goal for the club after joining the team in a trade from Jacksonville Armada FC. He slotted home from in close after receiving a pass from Steven Miller. The club doubled its lead in the 67th minute when Marcel Kandziora struck from distance.

Michel started Miami’s comeback with a goal from the penalty spot in the 87th minute.

San Francisco Deltas 2, New York Cosmos 1

The San Francisco Deltas overturned an early deficit to defeat the New York Cosmos, 2-1, at Kezar Stadium.

Cosmos forward Pablo Vranjicán scored in the first three minutes for the visitors after good build-up play from New York. Eric Calvillo’s pass into the box flicked off Eugene Starikov’s foot into the path of the Argentine forward. While his initial effort was stopped by Deltas ‘keeper Romuald Peiser, Vranjicán was able to slot his second effort into the back of the net.

The Deltas were undeterred, coming back with two goals late in the first half in the victory. Patrick Hopkins scored his first goal for the club, volleying home a free kick from Brazilian Dagoberto, who was making his first start for the club.

Later in the half, Tommy Heinemann converted from the penalty spot to give the visitors the lead.

The Cosmos had two key chances in the second half, but they were unable to convert in the loss. Starikov’s effort from point-blank range was saved by Peiser and Calvillo’s effort in the 76th minute hit the post to deny the U.S. youth international a goal in a third straight league game.
