PLAY OF THE MONTH | Giuseppe Gentile's Goal

Giuseppe Gentile has been in great form of late and earlier in May, he finished off a great team move by Puerto Rico FC. After build-up play down the win, Emery Welshamn laid the ball back into Gentile's path, who fired past New York Cosmos goalkeeper Jimmy Maurer. The goal was the first of the year for the NASL veteran, which also opened the scoring in the contest. Puerto Rico, though, was unable to hold on in a 4-3 loss.

Gentile's strike, however, was named Play of the Month for May and can be seen above.
