After a stay in San Francisco, it was back east and then south to Puerto Rico. The afternoon was spent in Old San Juan, taking in several different sights.
From El Morro
The first stop during the day was to El Morro, which is a 400-year-old fort. The spot offers views out into the horizon - truly picturesque ones - although it was a bit of a cloudy and rainy day. The fort has spots where canons would have protected the city and it was the perfect first stop in learning about Puerto Rican culture.
Character Rubbing Off
Old San Juan certainly has its character, charm, and soul, and that's something that's not lost on Tyler. It has helped him want to invest in the island's clulture and it's certainly something that he has embraced since joining the team for the club's inaugural season.
The houses are painted in all different colors, the roads are cobblestone, and street art adds another layer to the overall aesthetic of community.
It's well worth a visit, and if the sun comes out, some time at the beach may be in order for tomorow!
