The NASL Preseason Tour left Edmonton early in the morning and headed further west to San Francisco to visit the Deltas. With the players off on Sunday, Bryan Burke, Tyler Gibson, and Pablo Dyego joined the NASL Digital Team for a tour around the city.
Back In His Element
Defender Bryan Burke, who played in college in San Francisco, helped play the role of tour guide around the city. During the stop at Kezar Stadium, where the Deltas will play, he talked about doing fitness there during his college days. In a way coming full circle, this year will be the first time he gets a chance to actually play on the field.
San Francisco Experience
Where to go when visiting San Francisco? See the Golden Gate Bridge. Check. See the Painted Ladies. Check. Visit Kezar Stadium. Check.
The views in San Francisco were unmatched, especially with during the sunny day. Most notably was the view of the city's sky line from Mission Dolores Park. Well worth the stop.

"Our Team"
Everywhere we stopped, the Deltas players were being recognized. Near the Painted Ladies, a fan stopped and took a selfie and was fired about the start of the season.

In one of the last stops, the guys headed to Baked Bear, where they gave a scarf to the owner.
One thing was for certain during the day and was echoed several times: The residents feel like they can call the Deltas "our team."
