Goals from crosses or set pieces was a theme of the action in Week 7. Puerto Rico FC's Héctor Ramos nodded the ball home between two Carolina RailHawks, while Rayo OKC's Futty Danso was able to reach a set piece, sending it goalward. Alhassane Keita's flicked header earned Jacksonville Armada its first road win, while David Diosa also scored a game-winning goal for the New York Cosmos. Former Juventus and Italian national team forward Amauri capped of his Fort Lauderdale Stirikers debut with a goal.
