Minnesota United forward J.C. Banks scored his first goal of the year, and he did it in style. Taking a short pass from Ibson, Banks unloaded a shot from 30-plus yards away that dipped and bounced into the bottom corner. It was the opening salvo in a 3-1 win for the Loons over the Fort Lauderdale Strikers.
