As part of its commitment to the fans, Puerto Rico FC announced that all of its inaugural season games will be broadcast on the leading Puerto Rican sports channel WAPA 2.
"We are so pleased to announce our partnership with WAPA to televise our games here in Puerto Rico," Puerto Rico FC President Tom Payne said. "They are obviously a really well known network and a big brand so we are proud to have all of our inaugural season games broadcasted on WAPA 2."
WAPA 2 manager Paco Vargas said his channel is always in search of attractive programming for its viewers and understands that these games will be of interest to them adding "What’s better than a world renowned sport being played by a local team at a high level”.
Puerto Rico FC fans will have the opportunity to support their club when they play away from home 11 times this season, the first being at Community First Park against Jacksonville Armada FC.
WAPA 2 Sports also has exclusive broadcasting rights of the National Superior Basketball League and both regular and postseason MLB games.
