NASL Players Join National Teams For Important Qualifiers

Several NASL players will join up with their national teams for World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations qualifying

With 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying gearing up, as well as other events, several NASL players will be headed out for international duty. Here is a list of the international call-ups around the league: 

Julian de Guzman (Ottawa Fury FC) – Joins the Canada squad for World Cup qualifiers against Belize on September 4 and 8.

Richie Menjivar (Tampa Bay Rowdies) – Joins the El Salvador squad for World Cup qualifiers against Curaçao on Sept. 4 and 8.

Andrés Flores (New York Cosmos) – Joins the El Salvador squad for World Cup qualifiers against Curaçao on Sept. 4 and 8.

Pascal Millien (Jacksonville Armada FC) – Joins the Haiti squad for World Cup qualifiers against Grenada on Sept. 4 and 8.

Steward Ceus (Atlanta Silverbacks) – Joins the Haiti squad for World Cup qualifiers against Grenada on Sept. 4 and 8.

Lance Laing (FC Edmonton) – Joins the Jamaica squad for World Cup qualifiers against Nicaragua on Sept. 4 and 8.

Shawn Nicklaw (Jacksonville Armada FC) – Joins the Guam squad for World Cup qualifiers against Iran on Sept. 3 and Oman on Sept. 8.

Sainey Nyassi (FC Edmonton) – Joins the Gambia squad for a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Cameroon on Sept. 6.

Futty Danso (Carolina RailHawks) – Joins the Gambia squad for a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Cameroon on Sept. 6.
