Cuban forward Yaikel Pérez scored twice and Honduran defender Ivan Guerrero dished out four assists to lead the Fort Lauderdale Strikers to a 6-2 romp over the Atlanta Silverbacks among the international player highlights this past NASL Week 12 action.
Pérez, who has made 10 international appearances with Cuba, scored in the 41st and 63rd minutes and both tallies were assisted his Fort Lauderdale teammate Guerrero. The former Honduran international with 84 caps recorded two more assists for the Strikers in the victory over the Silverbacks on Saturday.
Ten of the 12 goal scored during this past weekend’s encounters came from NASL international stars as South American midfielders Martin Nunez (Uruguay) and Carlos Salazar (Colombia) also scored for the Strikers, while forwards Ruben Luna of Mexico and Brazilian native Pedro Mendes each added a tally in the loss for the Silverbacks.
Also on Saturday, English midfielder Luke Mulholland notched the game-winning penalty kept the Tampa Bay Rowdies chances of reaching the NASL Soccer Bowl 2013 alive with a 1-0 victory over the visiting Scorpions. Meanwhile, earlier in the day, Uruguayan midfielder Enzo Martinez had the only goal of the match for the RailHawks as they defeated the host Minnesota United FC.
On Sunday, Scottish defender David Proctor scored a last-minute equalizer for FC Edmonton deny the New York Cosmos a chance to win the Fall crown and clinch a berth to the NASL Soccer Bowl 2013 in a 1-1 draw. Italian forward Alessandro Noselli had come off the bench to give the Cosmos the lead with his third goal of the season.

Forward – Pablo Campos (Brazil) earned another 90 under his belt.
Defender – Henry Kalungi (Uganda) played the entire game.
Midfielders – Enzo Martinez (Uruguay) earned a full 90 and scored the only goal of the match, while Nick Millington (Guyana) also saw action the whole match. Cesar Elizondo (Costa Rica) came in off the bench in the 52nd minute.
Forward – Nicholas Addlery (Jamaica) was eight minutes shy of a complete game before being subbed out.

Defenders – Ivan Guerrero (Honduras) saw action during the full 90 and dished out four assists, while Rafael Alves (Brazil) also played the whole game and had one assist.
Midfielders – Martin Nunez (Uruguay) scored the team’s first goal in a complete game, while Carlos Salazar (Colombia) notched a penalty kick tally before being subbed out in the 70th minute. Pecka (Brazil) also earned a full 90.
Forwards – Yaikel Pérez (Cuba) scored twice before being replaced in the 64th minute, while Paulo Junior (Brazil) saw action in 77th minute before being substituted by Gonzalo De Mujica (Argentina).
Coach – Günter Kronsteiner (Austria) earned his fifth NASL victory at the helm of the club.

Defender – Martyn Lancaster (England) saw action in 58 minutes before being substituted by Danny Barrera (Colombia).
Midfielders – Richard Menjivar (El Salvador) played the full 90, while Alex Caceres (Colombia) saw action in 58 minutes before being replaced by Horace James (Jamaica).

Evans Frimpong (Ghana) played 65 minutes before being substituted by Carl Cort (Guyana) in the 65th minute.
Forward – Lucky Mkosana (Zimbabwe) saw action the entire match, while Etienne Barbara (Malta) played 81 minutes before being replaced.
Coach – Ricky Hill (England) is unbeaten in his last seven home games.
Defender – Luka Vucko (Croatia) played the entire game.

Forwards – Sainey Touray (Gambia) and Tomasz Zahorski (Poland) both earned another complete game, while Esteban Bayona (Colombia) came off the bench to play the last eight minutes of the match.
