Rowdies Sign Forward Devin Del Do

The Tampa Bay Rowdies have signed forward Devin Del Do to a two-year contract through the 2014 season, with the second year being a club option.

Del Do (5-9, 155) began the 2013 season with the Rowdies as a trialist after a three-year stint with the Minnesota Stars FC, now Minnesota United FC. The 26-year old started in the three group matches in the 2013 Disney Pro Soccer Classic.

His professional soccer career officially began on April 8, 2010, when he signed his first contract with the Minnesota Stars.In his three years at Minnesota, he scored nine goals and added three assist in over 45 appearances. Del Do grew up in Valencia, California, and played collegiately at California State University of Northridge. He appeared in 70 games in his career for the Matadors, finishing with nine goals and nine assists.

Tampa Bay will continue their 2013 preseason against Eckerd College on Wednesday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. The match will be played on campus at Eckerd College, 4200 54th Avenue South, St. Petersburg, Florida.
