PRESEASON RESULTS
RailHawks finish week with 4-1 victory over Kickers

The RailHawks kicked off their preseason on Sunday, February 24th when they hosted MLS squad Vancouver Whitecaps in the Hilton Garden Inn Durham Southpoint Community Shield Match.  After dropping to the in-form Whitecaps, the RailHawks rebounded with two great results against Duke University and the Richmond Kickers.

On Tuesday, February 26th the RailHawks travelled to Durham where they defeated the Blue Devils 3-1.  Following up on their victory over the Blue Devils, the RailHawks made the trip North to Richmond where they defeated the Kickers 4-1 on a hat-trick from Brian Shriver.  Brian Ackley tallied the opening goal in the 30th minute in what was deemed the clubs best performance so far in the early preseason.

The RailHawks continue their preseason training this week before finsihing off the with a matchup against Wake Forest University on Saturday, March 9th at WakeMed Soccer Park Field #6 at 12:00pm.  Last week, the club announced that Mexican giant, Pumas UNAM, will be making the trip to the New WakeMed Soccer Park on Wednesday, March 20th to face the RailHawks.  Tickets for the match can be purchased here.
