The Islanders travel to San Antonio to take on the top of the table Scorpions. Puerto Rico is retuning back stateside from El Salvador after playing A.D. Isidro Metapán in CONCACAF Champions league play. Four points separate the teams at the top of the NASL Table. The Islanders (31 points) looks to shrink the distance between themselves and first place in the NASL (Scorpions- 35 points), a position they held for the majority of the season until late. As always, fans can watch the game at the Islanders' Watch Party in Coladas Fine Puerto Rican Cuisine and Frozen Drink Bar at Verdanza Hotel in Isla Verde, starting at 7:00 p.m.
This will be the fourth and final game between the competing sides. The Islanders look to take the optimum of 9 points of the possible 12 in the season series, but surely the Scorpions will have equalization on their minds.
The Scorpions took down the Railhawks last week in an 8-0 dismantling. The Islanders too are coming off three points after a win in the final game at Bayamón Soccer Complex . Both teams played at home for the NASL league matches.
