GolTV to Broadcast NASL Championship Final Game on National Television

MIAMI, Fla. (Oct. 26, 2011)– The North American Soccer League (NASL) today announced that this Saturday’s NASL Championship Series final game between the Fort Lauderdale Strikers and NSC Minnesota Stars will be broadcast nationally by GolTV on tape delay beginning at 10:00p.m. EDT Saturday. GolTV will rebroadcast the match three times in the coming weeks for those who miss Saturday night’s broadcast.

The match will be broadcast in both English and Spanish. English commentary will be provided by Juan Arango (play by play announcer) and George Metellus (color commentator). Spanish commentary will be provided by Arley Londoño (play by play announcer) and Juan Mora (color commentator).

"It is with great excitement we build upon our partnership with GolTV in the broadcasting of this Saturday's Championship Series final game. The Team NASL show on GolTV has provided our fans unique insight into the league and each of our teams, and this broadcast furthers the access our fans have to our league on national television," said NASL Commissioner David Downs.

The NASL Championship Series final game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. EDT kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Fort Lauderdale’s Lockhart Stadium.
